10 years ago I was obese. I was unhappy with where I was at in life and wanted a different story. I made the choice to hire a Personal Trainer. Since losing the weight I have gone on to join the Army, start playing competitive team sports and become a Personal Trainer myself. I’ve been serving in the Army since Dec 2008 and it has taken me across the globe. My highlight has been going to Norway for winter survival training. (I am a Master Fitness Trainer in the Army as well). I started playing Australian football in 2010, making my Team USA debut In 2011. I’ve played in Australia 3 times, Captaining the team two of those times. I’ve been Personal Training in a gym since 2012. Form and technique are crucial for success, I love to teach it. I have an extreme passion for strength training, functional fitness and boxing.
I was first a student of boxing, training under World Champion kickboxer Marty “The Wolfman” Lindquist for a total of 2.5 years spanning 2006- 2009. I became a Certified boxing coach through TITLE Boxing in 2015 making it my full-time job back in MN. I did this along with training any and all new coaches in on how to coach fitness boxing as authentic to training like a boxing champion as possible.

I currently offer 1 on 1 training, buddy training and small group personal training. Boxing specific small group training is offered Mondays and Wednesdays 5:15 am or 9 am. I also offer small group training specific to strength training (no cardio) on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 am.

I have had a passion for physical fitness and nutrition for 20+ years. My passion isn’t just for myself and my family, I am passionate about helping others achieve their goals and desires. I started teaching HIIT/Functional Fitness classes in January 2018 and started personal training in February 2020. I love seeing other people push themselves, face their fears and get stronger physically and mentally. Teaching classes and personal training have pushed me to come out of my comfort zone and face my own fears!

Push beyond your limits! Many people will say to not FEAR failure, and I would agree. Whenever we find ourselves mentally vulnerable or when every fiber of our physical being is telling us to stop, we must conjure a way mentally to push ourselves past the point of failure. Because it’s true what they say, FEAR can bring the best out of us.
