Athletic Training Youth Summer Camp
Join our youth summer camps and increase speed, quickness, strength, agility, and power.
Purpose of Camp
Teaching kids/youth the proper and safe way to develop strength, power, speed,
agility and conditioning.
Strength & Power
Your youth will learn the proper, correct, and safe way to do resistance training to build strength and power with weights and also through just using their body as resistance by doing calisthenics and plyometrics. This will set them up for the future to understand how important strength and conditioning training is for better results in competition and also for their well-being such as injury prevention. It is a full-body approach to developing strength in the legs and back.
Speed & Agility
Participants will learn the importance of running mechanics. They will do many drills in
order to teach them how to have a good starting position, starting technique and
how to accelerate, decelerate and change directions.
Participants will learn how to obtain better stamina through speed (endurance). Interval sprint and run intensities will help campers be able to get better endurance to be able to do repetitive sprints and bouts at the same speed.
