Class descriptions

Spin: Our high energy classes focus on endurance, strength, intervals, high intensity and recovery, we use stationary exercise bikes with a weighted flywheel in a classroom setting.


Zumba: This aerobic fitness program features movements inspired by various styles of Latin American dance and performed primarily to Latin American dance music.


Yoga: This class includes breath control, simple meditation, Stretch and the adoption of specific bodily postures, is widely practiced for health and relaxation.


Restorative Yoga: A restorative Yoga sequence typically involves approximately five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. These poses can be held for 5 minutes or more. Restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends.


Functional Training:  In this class we focus on exercise which involves training the body for the activities performed in daily life. We do this with and without equipment.


HIIT: In this class we use a form of interval training, an exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods. You can expect both cardio and strength in our classes. 


Twerk & Tone: This class is packed with energy! Twerk & Tone will deliver dance that is designed to lift and shape your booty. You will have so much fun that you won’t even realize that it tightens your glutes until the next day.


PIYO: Our class brings a blend of Pilates and Yoga. This class is a lower-impact workout that strengthens and sculpts the body and enhances flexibility. Don’t be concerned if that heart rate slightly elevates as well. 


High Fitness: High Fitness is a hardcore fun fitness class that incorporates interval training with music you love and intense easy to follow choreography. This class produces a high caloric burn and full body toning through its carefully formulated choreography that alternates between intense cardio peaks and toning tracks.


Barre: This class is distinguished from other group fitness activities by its use of the ballet barre and its incorporation of movements derived from ballet. It is often compared to a standing variation of Pilates.


Ripped & Tone: This total body, high intensity style workout utilizes free weights, resistance, and body weight which combines the components of Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics and Endurance.


Cardio Pump:  Is a fun and energetic workout that burns mega calories! This is also a weighted workout perfect for a total body experience.


Circuit Training: A form of body conditioning or endurance training or resistance training using high-intensity. It targets strength building or muscular endurance. An exercise "circuit" is one completion of all prescribed exercises in the program.


Strong by Zumba:  Is a high intensity interval class. Think burpees, pushups, and other high-impact moves that are synced to specific music.


U-Jam: An urban dance workout that makes you sweat while having a dance party. With easy-to-follow dance moves and high-energy music, you'll be samba and swinging your way to a sweat in this class.


Kyokushin Karate: Kyokushin is a style of stand-up, full contact karate. It is rooted in a philosophy of self-improvement, discipline and hard training. 


Core Conditioning: This class will focus on glute and core as well. You will learn the mind body connection that helps create a stronger core overall.
